‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Star Posts Video Urging Everyone to “stay at home” Four Weeks After Shelter in Place Order

Long Island, NY- Famed TV doctor/actress Ellen Pompeo posted a video from her mansion in The Hampton’s urging everyone to “stay at home” at the behest of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. “I think people will really take it seriously now that I’ve come out against the virus and in favor of social distancing”, Pompeo said. Queens resident and fan of the show, Janet Kryzwicki gushed, “Meredith knows her stuff, I saw her do a herniated disc procedure Sunday night and it only took like 3 minutes”. 

     The Governor’s office has also contacted ER’s Anthony Edwards, St. Elsewhere’s Ed Begley Jr., and Doogie Howser’s Neil Patrick Harris to make similar PSAs, but will not release them for a month or so stating “they will have a greater effect after all this dies down”. When asked if they would encourage McDreamy, McSteamy, and Marcus Welby to speak out, a Governor’s spokesperson said, “No, they uh…they’re all dead”.
